Though I’d like to say that I wrote this post with this in the background…
I’ve had a beautiful 48 hours off the computer, and am writing now that it’s dark. I love breaks from technology! (Yes, this was from my phone, so it halfway counts as a break from technology, I suppose). As per the caramel update, here goes:
Size: I like how this site phrased it: “Yes ma’am, your fantastic little bean stalk has added yet another half inch to their overall height – making them nearly half a foot long!”
Name: My little bean stalk. My little caramel. My little pumpkin.
Gender: Coming to an ultrasound near you on January 31st!
Maternity Clothes: I wear my GAP maternity skinny jeans every other day, but let’s be honest – I really don’t feel that skinny.
Food Cravings: Out of 12 (lunch and dinner) meals this past week for my class, we had chicken and pasta for 10 of those meals. Kid you not. Seriously, Renaissance? Needless to say, I’ve been craving anything BUT chicken and pasta, primarily in the form of pizza and a root beer float.
Currently reading: The Thinking Woman’s Guide to a Better Birth (pregnancy), The Politics of Jesus (class) + many of them from last week.
Most interesting reading fact: One of the most harmful things a pregnant woman can do is wear her lap belt (seat belt) OVER the top of her belly. Wear it underneath, ladies! Fact #2: (and hang in here with me for a second here…), did you know that pregnant women crave their own version of pregnancy porn? For example…
Feeling: Good – I’d still like my own personal masseuse to follow me around, spontaneously giving me back rubs during the day, but that hasn’t happened yet.
Missing: A chin that’s layer-less.
Anticipating: Five days of Young Life insanity at the all-staff conference that starts tomorrow. Insert: hilariousness, Jesus, screams, deep conversations and a b-e-a-utiful day at Disney World!
