Finally, a lot of my blog readers are also writers; since you just finished writing (and publishing!) a book, what encouragement or tips would you offer those who are just dipping their toes into the water, so to speak? Many writers benefit from writing every day, from writing first thing in the morning, or writing a certain daily quota of words, or developing other good writing habits. But that doesn’t work for everyone, and you don’t have to write that way. Write when you can, where you can. Follow your passion. Find what works for you. If your dream is to write, be encouraged by these words of Henry David Thoreau: “If you have built castles in the air, your work need not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them.”
Yup. It’s as good as it sounds. Head over to April’s website and cheer her on – otherwise, go straight to your favorite bookseller and pick up a copy of Christ Is For Us. Otherwise, leave a comment answering what Lent means to you. Winner will be drawn on Wednesday, March 15th.
