Week: 32 weeks! Wowsers.
Size: Pick up a jicama, people, for little man is weighing in at 3.75 pounds and is about 16.7 inches long. (For the record, I don’t think I’ve ever seen an actual jicama, just the pre-sliced goodies. Maybe I need to scour the produce section more thoroughly).
Okay, wait. Stop right here. Do you also need to know what a jicama looks like? Google images, here we come…
Name: Little Caramel
Gender: punching, kicking, somersaulting, causing me crazy heartburn baby boy!
Maternity Clothes: Yes. And I may have to think this whole “not really needing summer maternity clothes” option, as it was 86 degrees today.
Food Cravings: My love-love relationship with rotisserie chicken continues; daily I’ve been pulling off chunks of the stuff whenever heartburn starts to creep in, and I tell you, it does the trick!
Currently reading: Bringing Up Bebe, The Nursing Mother’s Companion + Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close.
Most interesting fact: Don’t make a pregnant lady laugh too loud/hard because a wee little bitty bit of incontinence is real in pregnancy. TMI? Most likely. True fact for this one here? I’m not sayin’.
Feeling: STOKED to have the feet finally propped up for the day, with the hubs cleaning up after dinner in the background. Life is good.
Missing: Sleeping next to the hubs. I’ve been sequestered to the guest room due to this other lovely pregnancy problem calling snoring. What can I say? Little Caramel is pushing everything upwards and my respiratory system is crying out for help. Hey, at least I’m sleeping well!
Anticipating: Two showers this coming weekend, family coming into town, and a continuation of this beautiful, perfect weather.
And now I leave you with this Little Caramel love token from Lens Crafters:
